What your Elementor Forms to Asana plugin does

A focused plugin that creates a task in one Asana project when an Elementor form is submitted. You set the task name and put the answers in its notes.

Task per entry
Each submission becomes a new task in your project.
Name and notes
Build the task name and notes from form fields.
Your own token
Paste an Asana personal access token, sent as a bearer token.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: It creates tasks in one project per form. The task is made under the access token's user. Subtasks, sections and custom fields are separate builds.

Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.

Describe your Connect Elementor Forms to Asana Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request
I manage a small events company. When someone submits my Elementor event request form, create an Asana task in the Event Requests project named after the event with date and guest count in the notes.
O
Ora
Here is the plan:
  • Asana connection using your personal access token, with a test button
  • Task created in the Event Requests project, named after the event
  • Date, guest count and message put in the task notes
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Assignees, due dates, sections and attachments are not in this plan. Asana tokens act as the user who made them.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Due date. Set the task due date from a date field on the form.
  • Assign a person. Assign every new task to one named teammate.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Elementor Forms to Asana

Here is the whole setup for connecting Elementor Forms to Asana, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Asana and in Elementor Forms.

1. Create a personal access token
In Asana open My settings, Apps, Developer apps and create a personal access token. Use an account that can see the project, since tasks are created as that person.
2. Find your Elementor Forms fields
In the Elementor editor click each form field, open the Advanced tab and read its ID (for example email or name). Those IDs are what Ora maps to Asana.
3. Find the project and section
Asana refers to projects, sections and people by long numeric IDs (GIDs) that appear in the page address. Tell Ora which project and section new tasks go in, and who they are assigned to.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit the form on the practice site, then open Elementor, Submissions to confirm the entry was saved. Open the project in Asana and look for a new task with the test name and notes. Check the assignee and due date.

Questions

Is there a free Elementor Forms to Asana plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior for Asana and nothing extra.

What kind of Asana token do I use?

A personal access token from the Asana developer console works for your own account. Asana says to treat it like a password. You paste it on the settings page.

Do I need Elementor Pro and a Asana account?

Yes. The Form widget is part of Elementor Pro, and this plugin reads its submissions and sends them to your Asana account. You also need an Asana project to receive the tasks. You don't need to buy Zapier.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
