How to set up Elementor Forms to GetResponse

Here is the whole setup for connecting Elementor Forms to GetResponse, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in GetResponse and in Elementor Forms.

1. Copy your API key and campaign ID
In GetResponse open Integrations and API, API and generate a key. Then find your list (GetResponse calls it a campaign) and note its campaign ID.
2. Find your Elementor Forms fields
In the Elementor editor click each form field, open the Advanced tab and read its ID (for example email or name). Those IDs are what Ora maps to GetResponse.
3. Map name, email and custom fields
Contacts need an email and can carry a name and custom fields. Custom fields are referred to by ID, so open Contacts, Custom fields and tell Ora which ones to fill.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit the form on the practice site, then open Elementor, Submissions to confirm the entry was saved. Open Contacts in GetResponse and search for the test email. Check the list, and whether the day of the autoresponder cycle starts where you expected.

Questions

Is there a free Elementor Forms to GetResponse plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior for GetResponse and nothing extra.

Which GetResponse list do contacts go to?

The one you pick in the plugin's settings for each form. Each contact is added to that list, so you can send different forms to different lists.

Do I need Elementor Pro and a GetResponse account?

Yes to both. The Form widget is part of Elementor Pro, and this plugin reads those submissions and sends them to your GetResponse account. You don't need to buy Zapier.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
