A new subscriber is created, or the existing one is updated.
Custom fields
Match form answers to your Kit custom fields by their field keys.
Your own key
Paste your Kit API key once, with a test button.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: It creates and updates subscribers. Tagging, adding to forms and sequences, and broadcasts are separate builds, so set up the sequence in Kit.

Describe your Connect Elementor Forms to Kit (ConvertKit) Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request
I'm a business coach with an Elementor discovery call form: first name, email and my goal. Add each person to Kit and save their goal in a custom field called goal.
O
Ora
Here is the plan:
  • Kit connection with your API key and a test button
  • Discovery form mapped to email and first name
  • Goal saved in the goal custom field
  • Existing subscribers updated, not duplicated
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Tags, sequences and kit forms are not in this plan. Custom fields must already exist in Kit.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Add a tag. Tag each new subscriber with the name of the form they used.
  • Add to a Kit form. Also add each new subscriber to a Kit form I name.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Elementor Forms to Kit (ConvertKit)

Here is the whole setup for connecting Elementor Forms to Kit, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Kit and in Elementor Forms.

1. Create an API key
In Kit (formerly ConvertKit) open Settings, Developer and create an API key. Then note the numeric ID of the form, sequence or tag that new subscribers should join.
2. Find your Elementor Forms fields
In the Elementor editor click each form field, open the Advanced tab and read its ID (for example email or name). Those IDs are what Ora maps to Kit.
3. Choose form, sequence or tag
A subscriber is added with an email and first name, plus custom fields you have already created. Tell Ora whether each person should go into a form, a sequence, a tag or all three.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit the form on the practice site, then open Elementor, Submissions to confirm the entry was saved. Open Subscribers in Kit and search for the test email. Check the tags and the sequence, and whether the status is confirmed or unconfirmed.

Questions

Is there a free Elementor Forms to Kit plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior for Kit and nothing extra.

Is Kit the same as ConvertKit?

Yes. ConvertKit is now called Kit. The plugin talks to Kit's current API using your Kit API key.

Do I need Elementor Pro and a Kit account?

Yes to both. The Form widget is part of Elementor Pro, and this plugin reads those submissions and sends them to your Kit account. You don't need to buy Zapier.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
