How to set up Elementor Forms to Slack

Here is the whole setup for connecting Elementor Forms to Slack, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Slack and in Elementor Forms.

1. Create a Slack app with a webhook

At api.slack.com/apps create an app for your workspace, turn on Incoming Webhooks and add a webhook to the channel you want. Copy the webhook URL, and treat it like a password.

2. Find your Elementor Forms fields

In the Elementor editor click each form field, open the Advanced tab and read its ID (for example email or name). Those IDs are what Ora maps to Slack.

3. Choose what the message says

Decide what each notification shows and who it should mention. Slack uses its own light formatting, so Ora builds the message with bold labels and links that read well in a channel.

4. Describe it to Ora

5. Test on the practice site

Submit the form on the practice site, then open Elementor, Submissions to confirm the entry was saved. Open the channel in Slack and look for the new message. Check the links, the bold labels and any mention.

Common snags:

A webhook is tied to one channel. Add another webhook if a second channel needs alerts.
If you use a bot token instead, invite the bot to the channel first or Slack refuses the message.
Slack can shorten very long messages, so keep the notification to the key details and link to the full entry.

How do I get the webhook URL?

In Slack you create or reuse an app, turn on Incoming Webhooks, add a webhook to your workspace and pick a channel. You paste the URL it gives you on the settings page.

Do I need Elementor Pro and a Slack account?

Yes. The Form widget is part of Elementor Pro, and this plugin reads its submissions and sends them to your Slack account. You also need permission to add an app to your Slack workspace. You don't need to buy Zapier.

Can I get a refund?
