How to set up Elementor Forms to Zoho CRM

Here is the whole setup for connecting Elementor Forms to Zoho CRM, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Zoho CRM and in Elementor Forms.

1. Create API access in Zoho

In the Zoho API Console create a Self Client with the ZohoCRM.modules.ALL scope and generate a grant. Ora exchanges it for a refresh token. Use the domain your account lives on (.com, .eu, .in, .com.au or .jp), because the wrong region fails.

2. Find your Elementor Forms fields

In the Elementor editor click each form field, open the Advanced tab and read its ID (for example email or name). Those IDs are what Ora maps to Zoho CRM.

3. Match fields by API name

Zoho matches fields by API name, not label. A Lead needs Last_Name, and standard fields are First_Name, Email, Phone and Company. Custom fields are listed under Setup, Modules and Fields, with their API names.

4. Describe it to Ora

5. Test on the practice site

Submit the form on the practice site, then open Elementor, Submissions to confirm the entry was saved. Open Leads in Zoho CRM and search for the test email. Check the lead source and owner, and any workflow rule that starts.

Common snags:

If your Zoho account is on the EU or India data centre and the plugin uses the .com one, authorisation fails.
Duplicate checking by email can be switched on so a repeat enquiry updates the record.
Lead owner defaults to the API user, so say who should own new leads.

How do I connect my Zoho CRM account?

Zoho CRM uses OAuth. You create a self client in the Zoho developer console, then enter its client ID, secret and your data center in the plugin settings. The plugin then sends leads to your own Zoho CRM.

Do I need Elementor Pro and a Zoho CRM account?

Yes to both. The Form widget is part of Elementor Pro, and this plugin reads those submissions and sends them to your Zoho CRM account. You don't need to buy Zapier.

Can I get a refund?
