What your WooCommerce to GetResponse plugin does

A focused plugin that creates a GetResponse contact from a WooCommerce order. You choose the list, the tags and which order details go into custom fields.

Order to contact
A new WooCommerce order adds the buyer to your chosen GetResponse list.
Tags
Apply tags such as customer or first-order to the new contact.
Custom fields
Send details like city or order total into GetResponse custom fields.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: GetResponse queues new contacts, so they can appear in your list a moment after the order. Autoresponder setup and ecommerce data are separate builds.

Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.

Describe your Connect WooCommerce to GetResponse Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request
I run a small tea shop on WooCommerce. When an order comes in, add the buyer to my GetResponse list Tea Customers with the tag shop-buyer, and store their city in a custom field.
O
Ora
Here is the plan:
  • New WooCommerce orders sent to your GetResponse account
  • Buyer added to the list Tea Customers
  • Tag shop-buyer applied, city saved in a custom field
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Autoresponders, ecommerce product data and syncing back from GetResponse are not in this plan.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Different list by product. Add buyers to a different GetResponse list depending on the product category.
  • Failed send alert. Email me when a contact could not be added to GetResponse, with the order number.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up WooCommerce to GetResponse

Here is the whole setup for connecting WooCommerce to GetResponse, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in GetResponse and in WooCommerce.

1. Copy your API key and campaign ID
In GetResponse open Integrations and API, API and generate a key. Then find your list (GetResponse calls it a campaign) and note its campaign ID.
2. Find your WooCommerce fields
Decide which order status sends the data: Processing (payment received) or Completed (order fulfilled). Ora maps billing first name, last name, email, phone and company from the order.
3. Map name, email and custom fields
Contacts need an email and can carry a name and custom fields. Custom fields are referred to by ID, so open Contacts, Custom fields and tell Ora which ones to fill.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Place a test order on the practice site using Cash on Delivery or a 100 percent coupon, move it to your chosen status, then check GetResponse. Open Contacts in GetResponse and search for the test email. Check the list, and whether the day of the autoresponder cycle starts where you expected.

Questions

Is there a free WooCommerce to GetResponse plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

How does it connect to GetResponse?

You create an API key in your GetResponse account and paste it, with your list token, on the plugin's settings page. The plugin sends the contact from your site to GetResponse.

Do I need WooCommerce and a GetResponse account?

Yes. This plugin runs on your WooCommerce store and sends data to your GetResponse account. You don't need to buy a Zapier plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
