What your WooCommerce to Google Sheets plugin does

A focused plugin that appends a row to a Google Sheet for each new WooCommerce order. You choose the sheet and the columns.

A row per order
Each new order is added as a new row at the bottom of your sheet.
Choose columns
Pick order number, date, customer, items, total and shipping country.
Status rows
Optionally add a second row when an order is marked completed or refunded.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: The plugin only adds rows, it does not read or edit rows already in the sheet. The Google account or service account you connect needs access to the sheet.

Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.

Describe your Connect WooCommerce to Google Sheets Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request

Here is the plan:
  • Paid WooCommerce orders added as rows to your Google Sheet
  • Columns: order number, date, customer, items, total, country
  • Optional extra row when an order is refunded
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Editing or deleting existing rows, reading data back into WooCommerce and importing past orders are not in this plan.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Customer notes column. Add the customer's order note as a column in the sheet.
  • Failed send alert. Email me when a row could not be added to the sheet, with the order number.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up WooCommerce to Google Sheets

Here is the whole setup for connecting WooCommerce to Google Sheets, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Google Sheets and in WooCommerce.

1. Create a service account and share the sheet
In Google Cloud turn on the Google Sheets API, create a service account and download its JSON key. Then open your sheet, click Share and give the service account email Editor access.
2. Find your WooCommerce fields
Decide which order status sends the data: Processing (payment received) or Completed (order fulfilled). Ora maps billing first name, last name, email, phone and company from the order.
3. Set the sheet and columns
Copy the spreadsheet ID from the sheet address (the long part between /d/ and /edit) and note the tab name. Put clear headings in row 1 and tell Ora which form field goes under which heading.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Place a test order on the practice site using Cash on Delivery or a 100 percent coupon, move it to your chosen status, then check Google Sheets. Open the sheet and look for a new row at the bottom with the test values. Check that dates and numbers are not turned into text.

Questions

Is there a free WooCommerce to Google Sheets plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

How does the plugin get access to my sheet?

You set up Google credentials with access to the Google Sheets API and paste them on the plugin's settings page, then share the sheet with that account. Ora walks you through it.

Do I need WooCommerce and a Google Sheets account?

Yes. This plugin runs on your WooCommerce store and sends data to your Google Sheets account. You don't need to buy a Zapier plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
