What your Country Restrictions plugin does
A focused WooCommerce country restrictions plugin. Products can be hidden, blocked or redirected for visitors from the countries you pick.
Hide or block
Hide a product, or show it but stop the purchase.
Pick countries
Choose single countries or a list of them per product or category.
Your own notice
Write the message that restricted visitors see.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: Location is guessed from the visitor's address, so it is not exact. Tax and shipping rules are not changed.
Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.
Describe your WooCommerce Country Restrictions Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.
Example request
I sell cosmetics that I can only ship to the EU. Hide the Skincare category from visitors outside the EU. Show a notice that says we don't ship to their country yet.

Ora
Here is the plan:
Skincare category hidden outside EU countries
A notice saying we don't ship there yet
Setting per category or per product
Redirect option to a page you choose
A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Shipping zones and tax rules are not changed by this plan. Country lookup depends on the visitor's address.
Want more? Add it to your request:
Allow list. Only allow the countries I list and block all the rest.
Region groups. Save groups like EU and Nordics to reuse across products.
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.
How to set up Country Restrictions
Here is how to get a Country Restrictions from idea to working plugin on your site. Most of the work is a few decisions, and these steps walk through them.
1. Choose the rules
Which countries can buy which products, or which countries you do not ship to at all.
2. Choose what shows
A message on the product, a block at checkout or the product hidden for that country.
3. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and change the details. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
4. Test on the practice site
Test with a billing and a shipping address from an allowed and a blocked country on the practice site.
Common snags:
Customers can use a different shipping and billing country, so check both.
Say which country detection to use for the product page.
No yearly fee for your WooCommerce Country Restrictions Plugin
Looking for an alternative to the paid GeoShield Country Restrictions extension from WooCommerce marketplace seller? It lists at $59 a year. Your own version is a one-off.

Paid plugin price is the list price for one site, as shown on the seller's site in October 2026. The price of your build depends on its size. Ora quotes it before you pay. The paid product may do more than the plugin described above.

Pick one to open the builder with it filled in, then change anything you like.
Is there a free WooCommerce country restrictions plugin?
Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.
How is the visitor's country found?
From the visitor's address. It is a good guide, but a visitor using a VPN may appear elsewhere.
Do I need WooCommerce?
Yes. This plugin is built for WooCommerce stores and works with your products and categories. You don't need to buy the paid GeoShield Country Restrictions extension from WooCommerce marketplace seller.
Can I get a refund?
The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
