What your Live Search plugin does

A focused WooCommerce live search plugin. Results appear under the search box and can include pages and posts.

Results as you type
Product matches appear after a few letters, with image and price.
Search more than titles
Match SKU, brand and category names.
Pages and posts
Include pages and blog posts in the dropdown, and exclude products you choose.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: The search runs over your store's own content. Typo tolerance and learned rankings like a hosted search service are separate builds.

Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.

Describe your WooCommerce Live Search Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request
I sell skincare and customers search by brand and ingredient. Show up to 6 products under the search box with image and price, also search the brand name, and show 2 blog posts. Hide gift cards.

Here is the plan:
  • Dropdown with up to 6 products, image and price
  • Search also matches brand names
  • 2 blog posts in the results
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Search uses your site's database with simple matching. Spell correction and result ranking by popularity are not in this plan.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • SKU search. Match product SKUs in the live results.
  • Category suggestions. Show matching categories at the top of the dropdown.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Live Search

Here is how to get a Live Search from idea to working plugin on your site. Most of the work is a few decisions, and these steps walk through them.

1. Choose what to search
Products only, or posts and pages too, and which fields such as title, SKU or description.
2. Choose the results
How many, thumbnails, price and a see all link.
3. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and change the details. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
4. Test on the practice site
Type on the practice site and check results appear quickly and that an empty search says so.
Common snags:

No yearly fee for your WooCommerce Live Search Plugin

Looking for an alternative to the paid FiboSearch Pro extension from FiboSearch? It lists at $59 a year. Your own version is a one-off.

the paid FiboSearch Pro extension from FiboSearch
$59 / year
After 1 year$59
After 3 years$177
Your own WooCommerce Live Search Plugin on Pluginora
$19–$39 once
After 1 yearthe same
After 3 yearsthe same

Paid plugin price is the list price for one site, as shown on the seller's site in October 2026. The price of your build depends on its size. Ora quotes it before you pay. The paid product may do more than the plugin described above.

Questions

Is there a free WooCommerce live search plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

What can the search look through?

Product names, descriptions, SKUs and, if you choose, brands, categories, pages and posts.

Do I need WooCommerce?

Yes. This plugin is built for WooCommerce stores and works with your products, cart and checkout. You don't need to buy the paid FiboSearch Pro extension from FiboSearch.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
