How to set up Everest Forms to amoCRM

Here is the whole setup for connecting Everest Forms to amoCRM (Kommo), so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in amoCRM (Kommo) and in Everest Forms.

1. Create a private integration

In your amoCRM or Kommo account open Settings, Integrations and create a private integration. Copy the long-lived access token and note your account subdomain, which is the first part of your CRM address.

2. Find your Everest Forms fields

Open the form in Everest Forms, click a field and check its Advanced Options for the Meta Key, which identifies the field. Name fields are split into first and last.

3. Match fields, pipeline and status

Leads sit in a pipeline at a status, both referred to by number. Custom fields are numeric IDs too. Tell Ora the pipeline and status for new leads and which fields to fill on the contact.

4. Describe it to Ora

5. Test on the practice site

Submit a test entry and look for it under Everest Forms, Entries. Open Leads in amoCRM and look for the new lead with the contact attached. Check its status in the pipeline.

Common snags:

Pipeline and status are numbers, so Ora reads them from your account rather than using names.
Contact phone and email are fields with a type like Work or Mobile, which you may want to choose.
The access token is tied to the integration, so deleting the integration stops the plugin.
