Example request
My consulting firm has an Everest Forms intake form with name, email, phone, company and a Service Interest field. Map them to Salesforce, with Service Interest going to a custom field.

Ora
Here is the plan:
  • Salesforce connection authorized from settings
  • Name, email, phone and company mapped
  • Service Interest sent to your custom field
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Running Salesforce flows is not in this plan. Custom fields must already exist.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Second custom field. Map an extra custom Salesforce field.
  • Error email. Email me when a send fails.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Everest Forms to Salesforce

Here is the whole setup for connecting Everest Forms to Salesforce, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Salesforce and in Everest Forms.

1. Set up API access in Salesforce
In Setup create a connected app (newer orgs call it an external client app) with OAuth turned on and the api scope. Pick or create an integration user whose profile can create Leads, and note the consumer key, the consumer secret and your My Domain login URL.
2. Find your Everest Forms fields
Open the form in Everest Forms, click a field and check its Advanced Options for the Meta Key, which identifies the field. Name fields are split into first and last.
3. Match fields by API name
Salesforce matches fields by API name, not label. A Lead needs LastName and Company. Standard fields are FirstName, LastName, Email, Phone and Company, and any custom field you added ends in __c. Find them in Setup, Object Manager, Lead, Fields and Relationships.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under Everest Forms, Entries. Open the Leads tab in Salesforce and look for the test email. If a duplicate rule in your org blocks the record, the plugin logs the message Salesforce returned so you can see exactly why.

Yes. Give Ora the field names and they are added to the mapping.
