What your Gravity Forms to Salesforce plugin does

A focused plugin that adds a Salesforce feed to Gravity Forms. Each submission becomes a record in the Salesforce object you pick.

Feed per form
Choose which Gravity Forms send entries to Salesforce.
Pick the object
Send entries to Leads or Contacts, set per form.
Field mapping
Match form fields to Salesforce fields such as FirstName, LastName, Email, Phone and Company.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: This build creates one Salesforce record per entry in one object. Related objects and workflow rules are separate builds, and your Salesforce edition must allow API access.

Describe your Connect Gravity Forms to Salesforce Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request
Our Gravity Forms sales enquiry asks for name, work email, phone, company and a message. Create a Salesforce Lead for each entry, with the message in Description and Lead Source set to Web.

Ora
Here is the plan:
  • Feed on the sales enquiry form for Salesforce
  • Name, email, phone and company mapped to Lead fields
  • Message in Description, Lead Source set to Web
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Opportunities, Cases and Campaigns are not in this plan. Syncing Salesforce edits back to WordPress is not included.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Conditional feed. Only send entries where the budget dropdown is the top two choices.
  • Retry button. Add a button on the entry to resend it to Salesforce.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Gravity Forms to Salesforce

Here is the whole setup for connecting Gravity Forms to Salesforce, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Salesforce and in Gravity Forms.

1. Set up API access in Salesforce
In Setup create a connected app (newer orgs call it an external client app) with OAuth turned on and the api scope. Pick or create an integration user whose profile can create Leads, and note the consumer key, the consumer secret and your My Domain login URL.
2. Find your Gravity Forms fields
Gravity Forms identifies fields by number: field 1, field 2 and so on. Composite fields such as Name use decimals, so first name is usually 1.3 and last name 1.6. Ora needs these numbers to map correctly.
3. Match fields by API name
Salesforce matches fields by API name, not label. A Lead needs LastName and Company. Standard fields are FirstName, LastName, Email, Phone and Company, and any custom field you added ends in __c. Find them in Setup, Object Manager, Lead, Fields and Relationships.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under Forms, Entries in Gravity Forms. Open the Leads tab in Salesforce and look for the test email. If a duplicate rule in your org blocks the record, the plugin logs the message Salesforce returned so you can see exactly why.

Questions

Is there a free gravity forms to salesforce plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

Does my Salesforce plan matter?

Yes. Salesforce must allow API access on your edition. Ora checks this with you before building.

Do I need Gravity Forms and a Salesforce account?

Yes. This plugin is built to take submissions from Gravity Forms and send them to your Salesforce account. You don't need to buy the Gravity Forms Elite plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
