What your Formidable Forms to Salesforce plugin does

A focused plugin that sends Formidable Forms entries to Salesforce. You pick the object and map the fields.

Entry to record
Each entry creates a Lead or Contact in Salesforce.
Field mapping
Match form fields to Salesforce fields such as FirstName, LastName, Email and Company.
Custom object option
Send entries to one custom object if you have one.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: This build creates one record per entry in one object. Linked records are separate builds, and Salesforce needs web services API access on your edition.

Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.

Describe your Connect Formidable Forms to Salesforce Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Here is the plan:
  • Formidable Forms job application connected to Salesforce
  • Name, email, phone and employer mapped to Contact fields
  • Cover note saved in the Description field
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Linked Accounts and Opportunities are not in this plan. Syncing Salesforce edits back to WordPress is not included.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Update on edit. Update the Salesforce record when an entry is edited.
  • Lead source. Set Lead Source to Website on every new Lead.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Formidable Forms to Salesforce

Here is the whole setup for connecting Formidable Forms to Salesforce, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Salesforce and in Formidable Forms.

1. Set up API access in Salesforce
In Setup create a connected app (newer orgs call it an external client app) with OAuth turned on and the api scope. Pick or create an integration user whose profile can create Leads, and note the consumer key, the consumer secret and your My Domain login URL.
2. Find your Formidable Forms fields
Open the Formidable form builder, click a field and note its Field Key in the field settings. Keys are short text, which is easier to read than the numeric ID.
3. Match fields by API name
Salesforce matches fields by API name, not label. A Lead needs LastName and Company. Standard fields are FirstName, LastName, Email, Phone and Company, and any custom field you added ends in __c. Find them in Setup, Object Manager, Lead, Fields and Relationships.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under Formidable, Entries. Open the Leads tab in Salesforce and look for the test email. If a duplicate rule in your org blocks the record, the plugin logs the message Salesforce returned so you can see exactly why.

Questions

Is there a free formidable forms to salesforce plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

Do I need special Salesforce access?

Your Salesforce edition has to allow API access. Ora will ask about it before building.

Do I need Formidable Forms and a Salesforce account?

Yes. This plugin is built to take submissions from Formidable Forms and send them to your Salesforce account. You don't need to buy the Formidable Forms Elite plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
