How to set up WPForms to Pipedrive

Here is the whole setup for connecting WPForms to Pipedrive, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Pipedrive and in WPForms.

1. Copy your API token
In Pipedrive open your personal preferences, API, and copy your personal API token. The token acts as you, so use an account with permission to add people, organizations and deals.
2. Find your WPForms fields
Each WPForms field has a numeric ID, shown in the field options and in the smart tag list. The Name field has separate First and Last parts, so tell Ora which one goes where.
3. Map people, organizations and deals
Pipedrive splits a lead into a person, an organization and optionally a deal. Standard fields are name, email and phone. Custom fields use long generated keys, so Ora reads them from your account instead of guessing. Say which pipeline and stage new deals start in.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry. WPForms Lite does not keep entries, so watch Pipedrive directly if you use the free version. Open Contacts in Pipedrive and search for the test person. Check the organization link, and the deal in the pipeline stage you chose.

Is there a free WPForms to pipedrive plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

Does every entry open a deal?

Only if you want it to. You can add people and organizations alone, or open a deal for each entry.

Do I need WPForms and a Pipedrive account?

Yes. This plugin is built to take submissions from WPForms and send them to your Pipedrive account. You don't need to buy the WPForms Elite plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
