How to set up Free Shipping Hide Paid Rates
Here is how to get a Free Shipping Hide Paid Rates plugin from idea to working plugin on your site. Most of the work is a few decisions, and these steps walk through them.
1. Decide what to hide
All paid rates or only standard, and in which zones.
2. Check your free shipping rule
The free shipping method must already be set up with its threshold.
3. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and change the details. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
4. Test on the practice site
Change the cart total across the threshold on the practice site and check the rates at each total.
Common snags:
Taxes can change whether a cart reaches the threshold.
Coupons can too, so test with one.
