What your Private Store plugin does

A focused WooCommerce private store. Guests must log in or register to see the products, categories or pages you choose.

Hide chosen items
Pick products, categories or pages that guests cannot see.
Login prompt
Send guests to a login and register page with your own message.
Approve new sign-ups
Hold new registrations until you approve them.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: It restricts what guests can see. Detailed pricing by customer group is a separate build.

Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.

Describe your WooCommerce Private Store Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request
I sell trade-only craft supplies. Hide the Wholesale category from guests and show a login page instead. New sign-ups should wait for my approval before they can see anything.

Ora
Here is the plan:
  • Wholesale category hidden from guests
  • Guests sent to a login page with your message
  • New registrations held until you approve them
  • Approved customers see the category as normal
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Restriction by country is not in this plan. Search engine settings for hidden pages are left to your SEO plugin.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Restrict by country. Only show restricted products to visitors from chosen countries.
  • Pending approval email. Email new users when their account is approved.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Private Store

Here is how to get a Private Store from idea to working plugin on your site. Most of the work is a few decisions, and these steps walk through them.

1. Choose what is private
The whole shop, certain categories or certain products.
2. Choose who can see it
Logged in users, certain roles or people with a password or link.
3. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and change the details. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
4. Test on the practice site
Visit the shop on the practice site as a guest and as an approved user.
Common snags:

No yearly fee for your WooCommerce Private Store Plugin

Looking for an alternative to the paid Private Store for WooCommerce extension from WooCommerce marketplace seller? It lists at $49 a year. Your own version is a one-off.

the paid Private Store for WooCommerce extension from WooCommerce marketplace seller
$49 / year
After 1 year$49
After 3 years$147
Your own WooCommerce Private Store Plugin on Pluginora
$19–$39 once
After 1 yearthe same
After 3 yearsthe same

Paid plugin price is the list price for one site, as shown on the seller's site in October 2026. The price of your build depends on its size. Ora quotes it before you pay. The paid product may do more than the plugin described above.

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

Can I make the whole store private?

Yes, or only chosen products, categories and pages. You pick in the settings page.

Do I need WooCommerce?

Yes. This plugin is built for WooCommerce stores and works with your products and customer accounts. You don't need to buy the paid Private Store for WooCommerce extension from WooCommerce marketplace seller.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
