Example request
My yoga studio blog has a Fluent Forms signup box asking for first name and email. Add everyone to my ActiveCampaign list called Studio News.

Ora
Here is the plan:
  • ActiveCampaign connection with your account URL and API key
  • Signup form mapped to email and first name
  • Contacts added to the Studio News list
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Small build · $9 once
In this build: Choosing different lists by answer is not in this plan. Unsubscribes in ActiveCampaign are not synced back.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Second list. Let a checkbox in the form add the person to an extra list.
  • Name split. Split a single full name field into first and last name.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up Fluent Forms to ActiveCampaign

Here is the whole setup for connecting Fluent Forms to ActiveCampaign, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in ActiveCampaign and in Fluent Forms.

1. Copy your API URL and key
In ActiveCampaign open Settings, Developer. Copy the API URL (it looks like youraccount.api-us1.com) and the API key. The URL is unique to your account, so use the exact one shown there.
2. Find your Fluent Forms fields
In Fluent Forms open a field, go to Advanced Options and note its Name Attribute. The same value appears in smart codes like {inputs.email}.
3. Use list, tag and field IDs
Contacts are matched by email. Lists and custom fields are referred to by number, not name. Open the list or field and read the ID from the page address, then tell Ora which list each contact joins and which tag to add.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit the form and look for the entry under Fluent Forms, Entries. Open Contacts in ActiveCampaign and search for the test email. Check the list and tags on the contact, and any automation that starts on that list or tag.

Questions

Is there a free Fluent Forms to ActiveCampaign plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior for ActiveCampaign and nothing extra.

Can I add people to more than one list?

One list per form is the base plan. A second list by checkbox is an easy extra, see the extras above.

Do I need Fluent Forms and a ActiveCampaign account?

Yes. This plugin is built to read submissions from Fluent Forms on your site and send them to your ActiveCampaign account. You don't need to buy Fluent Forms Single Site (Pro) plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
