What your WPForms to ActiveCampaign plugin does

A focused plugin that adds WPForms submitters to ActiveCampaign as contacts. You map the fields and choose the tags to apply.

Entry to contact
Each submission adds or updates an ActiveCampaign contact.
Tags
Apply one or more tags, such as the name of the form.
Field mapping
Match first name, last name, email and phone to ActiveCampaign fields.
One settings page
Its own item in your WordPress admin menu, so options are easy to find and change.
Good to know: This build adds or updates contacts and applies tags. Automations, events and notes are separate builds.

Tell Ora what you need. Check the plan before you pay.

Describe your Connect WPForms to ActiveCampaign Plugin in your own words. Ora replies with a plan and a price. Nothing is built until you approve it.

Example request
I have a WPForms webinar signup with first name, last name, email and phone. Add each person to ActiveCampaign and tag them webinar-oct, plus a second tag if they tick the workshop box.

Ora
Here is the plan:
  • WPForms webinar signup connected to ActiveCampaign
  • First name, last name, email and phone mapped to contact fields
  • Tag webinar-oct added, with a second tag when workshop is ticked
  • A settings page in its own menu in your WordPress admin
Standard build · $19 once
In this build: Starting automations and sending events are not in this plan. Neither is syncing contact changes back to WordPress.
Want more? Add it to your request:
  • Add to a list. Also add each contact to a specific ActiveCampaign list.
  • Consent first. Only add people who ticked the marketing consent box.
Add these to my request and get a quote
Ora builds it together with the plugin and the quote goes up to match. You see the new price before you pay. One plugin never costs more than $39. If it needs more than one plugin, Ora quotes each one. Or add it later as a separate build.

How to set up WPForms to ActiveCampaign

Here is the whole setup for connecting WPForms to ActiveCampaign, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in ActiveCampaign and in WPForms.

1. Copy your API URL and key
In ActiveCampaign open Settings, Developer. Copy the API URL (it looks like youraccount.api-us1.com) and the API key. The URL is unique to your account, so use the exact one shown there.
2. Find your WPForms fields
Each WPForms field has a numeric ID, shown in the field options and in the smart tag list. The Name field has separate First and Last parts, so tell Ora which one goes where.
3. Use list, tag and field IDs
Contacts are matched by email. Lists and custom fields are referred to by number, not name. Open the list or field and read the ID from the page address, then tell Ora which list each contact joins and which tag to add.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry. WPForms Lite does not keep entries, so watch ActiveCampaign directly if you use the free version. Open Contacts in ActiveCampaign and search for the test email. Check the list and tags on the contact, and any automation that starts on that list or tag.
Common snags:

No yearly fee for your Connect WPForms to ActiveCampaign Plugin

Paid plugin price is the list price for one site, as shown on the seller's site in October 2026. The price of your build depends on its size. Ora quotes it before you pay. That plan includes the whole form plugin and its other add-ons, not just this connection.

Questions

Is there a free WPForms to activecampaign plugin?

Free ones may exist. Build your own when you want exact behavior and nothing extra.

Can I tag people differently per form?

Yes. Each form gets its own tags, so you can see which form a contact came from.

Do I need WPForms and a ActiveCampaign account?

Yes. This plugin is built to take submissions from WPForms and send them to your ActiveCampaign account. You don't need to buy the WPForms Elite plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
