How to set up Fluent Forms to Salesflare

Here is the whole setup for connecting Fluent Forms to Salesflare, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Salesflare and in Fluent Forms.

1. Create an API key
In Salesflare open Settings, API keys and create a key. Use an account that can create contacts and accounts, since the new records are owned by it.
2. Find your Fluent Forms fields
In Fluent Forms open a field, go to Advanced Options and note its Name Attribute. The same value appears in smart codes like {inputs.email}.
3. Map contact, account and custom fields
Salesflare links a contact to an account (company). Tell Ora which form fields give the contact name and email, which give the company, and any custom fields you created in Salesflare first.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit the form and look for the entry under Fluent Forms, Entries. Open Contacts in Salesflare and search for the test email. Check the company link and any custom fields.
