How to set up Ninja Forms to Insightly

Here is the whole setup for connecting Ninja Forms to Insightly, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Insightly and in Ninja Forms.

1. Copy your API key and pod
In Insightly open User settings and copy your API key. Note which pod your account is on (for example na1), because the API address includes it.
2. Find your Ninja Forms fields
Open a field in Ninja Forms, go to Administration and read its Field Key (for example email). Keys are unique within each form.
3. Match fields by name
Insightly uses upper case field names, such as FIRST_NAME, LAST_NAME and EMAIL_ADDRESS, and custom fields end in __c. Choose whether each enquiry becomes a lead or a contact.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under Ninja Forms, Submissions. Open Leads or Contacts in Insightly and search for the test email. Check the custom fields and the owner.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
