How to set up Ninja Forms to Zoho CRM

Here is the whole setup for connecting Ninja Forms to Zoho CRM, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Zoho CRM and in Ninja Forms.

1. Create API access in Zoho
In the Zoho API Console create a Self Client with the ZohoCRM.modules.ALL scope and generate a grant. Ora exchanges it for a refresh token. Use the domain your account lives on (.com, .eu, .in, .com.au or .jp), because the wrong region fails.
2. Find your Ninja Forms fields
Open a field in Ninja Forms, go to Administration and read its Field Key (for example email). Keys are unique within each form.
3. Match fields by API name
Zoho matches fields by API name, not label. A Lead needs Last_Name, and standard fields are First_Name, Email, Phone and Company. Custom fields are listed under Setup, Modules and Fields, with their API names.
4. Describe it to Ora

5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under Ninja Forms, Submissions. Open Leads in Zoho CRM and search for the test email. Check the lead source and owner, and any workflow rule that starts.
