How to set up WS Form to FluentCRM

Here is the whole setup for connecting WS Form to FluentCRM, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in FluentCRM and in WS Form.

1. Check FluentCRM is active
FluentCRM runs inside your own WordPress site, so there are no API keys to copy. Check it is installed and active, and note the lists and tags new contacts should join.
2. Find your WS Form fields
Select a field in WS Form and note its ID in the sidebar. WS Form refers to fields by ID in variables like #field(123).
3. Map contacts, lists, tags and custom fields
Contacts are matched by email. Lists and tags are referred to by their slug or ID, and custom fields by their slug, which you can see in FluentCRM, Settings. Say whether new contacts should be subscribed or pending.
4. Describe it to Ora
Paste your own version of the example request on this page, or start from one of the examples, and say which field goes where. Ora replies with a plan and a price, and nothing is built until you approve it.
5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under WS Form, Submissions. Open Contacts in FluentCRM and search for the test email. Check the lists, tags and status, and any automation that started.
