How to set up Gravity Forms to Agile CRM

Here is the whole setup for connecting Gravity Forms to Agile CRM, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in Agile CRM and in Gravity Forms.

1. Copy your domain, email and API key
In Agile CRM open Admin settings, Developers and API and copy the REST API key. The plugin also needs your Agile domain and the email address of the user the key belongs to.
2. Find your Gravity Forms fields
Gravity Forms identifies fields by number: field 1, field 2 and so on. Composite fields such as Name use decimals, so first name is usually 1.3 and last name 1.6. Ora needs these numbers to map correctly.
3. Map contact properties and tags
Agile stores details as properties with a name and type, such as first_name, last_name and email. Tell Ora which form fields fill which properties, and which tags to add.
4. Describe it to Ora

5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under Forms, Entries in Gravity Forms. Open Contacts in Agile CRM and search for the test email. Check the tags and any campaign that starts.
