How to set up WS Form to HubSpot

Here is the whole setup for connecting WS Form to HubSpot, so you know what to have ready before you start. Most of it takes a few minutes in HubSpot and in WS Form.

1. Create a private app in HubSpot
In HubSpot open Settings, Integrations, Private Apps and create an app for your site. Give it the crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.objects.contacts.write scopes, then copy the access token (it starts with pat-). The plugin keeps the token in your own WordPress settings.
2. Find your WS Form fields
Select a field in WS Form and note its ID in the sidebar. WS Form refers to fields by ID in variables like #field(123).
3. Match fields by internal name
HubSpot matches properties by internal name, not the label you see. First name is firstname, last name is lastname, phone is phone and company is company. Open Settings, Properties and click a property to read its internal name.
4. Describe it to Ora

5. Test on the practice site
Submit a test entry and look for it under WS Form, Submissions. Open Contacts in HubSpot and search for the test email. The contact should show the submitted values, and a second submission with the same email should update it instead of creating a copy.

No. It creates contact and company records directly from WS Form submissions.

Do I need WS Form and a HubSpot account?

Yes. This plugin is built to read submissions from WS Form on your site and send them to your HubSpot account. You don't need to buy WS Form Agency plan.

Can I get a refund?

The trial fee is refunded automatically if a build fails. A purchased plugin can be refunded within 14 days if it doesn't do what the approved plan said and Ora can't fix it, as long as it hasn't been downloaded or installed.
